Guacamole

An original mexican avocado dip! The guacamole needs only a few ingredients and is prepared quickly. In addition, it is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan and fits perfectly as a dip to quesadillas or nachos.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 lime
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cut garlic with a garlic press* and onions with the multi-cutter* very finely . Cut tomatoes into small cubes. Squeeze lime with the citrus queezer*.
  • Cut both avocados in half, pit and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Discard the peel and seeds and place the flesh in a bowl*.
  • Add the lime juice to the avocado and mash everything with a fork until it is finely mashed.
  • Add the garlic, onion and tomatoes to the avocado puree and mix everything well. Then season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Let the dip sit in the refrigerator for about 1 -2 hours before serving. Serve them in a dip bowl*.

Notes

We use the guacamole as a dip for our quesadillas or wraps. It is also great as an ingredient on a sandwich or as a side dish for tapas or at the barbecue.
